A medium-sized bat with a long tail. As of yet, this species is known only on the basis of two specimens. The forearm length averages 39.1 mm (38.0 - 40.3 mm). Ears triangular with rounded tips, the lower portion of each ear is very thick and fleshy; tragus is short, broadly rounded off above and curved inwards. Muzzle very short and broad, and is fringed with fine hairs on the upper lip, and has very distinct black pararhinal glandular swellings. Dorsal pelage dark brown. Ventral surface paler brown.
Nothing is known about the ecology of this bat.
