No subspecies, known only by nominate form.
This is a large-sized horseshoe bat characterized by a noseleaf similar to that of R. pearsonii and large ears. The forearm length is 57.1 mm. The horseshoe is broad and the inferior surface of the sella is short and rounded and the base of the sella is narrow. The lower lip has a single mental groove. The dorsal surface is brown in colour and the ventral surface is light brown.
Known only based on type specimen.
Nothing is known about this species.
India - Jharkhand (known only from the type locality)
